Please explain the outstanding contributions of the nominee during the month of nomination

This is so much praise I want to give to Scott-Coman and With a maximum of six hundred words I can only say so much about this staff that I hope that this OTM makes it justice for thier excellence and dedication to the job that they do. Evey month this staff does and excellent job but particularly this month of March. I truly believe that Scott-Coman staff should receive the Spotlight Of the Month Award.

In these halls the living environment is wonderful for the students that reside here. It helps them become the best they can be by supporting itsmembers through thick and thin. I would like to hand it up for the Scott-Coman staff and it’s not because I’m currently a member of this staff. It’s because all that they do as a staff to keep this building in the shape it’s in. The members of this staff work extremely hard to make this living environment fun and safe for the residents that choose to reside here. They always show enthusiasm while dealing with residents even though they may not like those specific residents.

On duty they are always diligent and looking for possible hazards in the hall. This staff also makes these halls a fun place by throwing many unique programs for the students to get involved in and become a larger part of their own community. These programs range from Movie nights to having a guest speaker from Adcaps. During the month of March, Scott-Coman Staff excelled by putting quality hall-wide program that atracted considerably high amount of residents. Every month, Scott-Coman gives its best to the service of our residents through programming. Particularly, this month you saw programs such as "How to live on a budget", "Fire Making, Smores tasting", "Self Defence", "Grab a Mug" and "ASWSU Voting". To ensure that residents were aware of these programs, SC staff went above and beyound to dessiminate the information through creative, eye-catching banners, one on one interacton, mailbox fliers, you name it. Most of these programs have great attendance and help the residents become educated as they battle through their college career.

I also want to recognize Scott-Coman's staff because of the tough weekend duties this past month and getting through each one with flying colors. The last week of March was particularly challenging, we had an issue with firecrackers being thrown out a window but because of this wonderful staff we averted the danger and kept everything under control.

Finally, Scott-Coman staff isn’t just on top of their game but so much more. They are like a family, a highly hyperactive family at times. But through thick and thin we are there for each other. These wonderful members of our staff help each other in more ways than one can say. This past month brough some difficult times for some of our members and everyone jumped to offer help without any hesitation. We will leave it at the fact that when I needed a shoulder to cry on and talk to I had that shoulder out of this staff and it wasn’t just one shoulder that was offered but all of the shoulders of the staff. These people are my new family and have helped me through tough times more than I’m willing to admit. This staff deserves the of the month award in my opinion and I believe that they are the best people and friends I’ll ever have...even after the end of this academic year. I know that the bonds we have created will always follow me through life and that keeps me going.
