Please explain the outstanding contributions of the nominee during the month of nomination

An absolutely crucial member of Winona State's Housing & Residence Life, Kari Hagemann has had a busy month. As the Leadership Development Coordinator (LDC), Kari has worked tirelessly throughout the month of March planning multiple Housing events and assisting in areas not usually under her realm of duties.

During March Kari has been a very important part of organizing and planning the Closing Banquet for Housing & Residence Life. Taking the charge in many areas of the planning and picking up the slack for members on the committee is something that just comes natural to her. She loves helping out and sometimes she doesn't know when to stop but that's why we love her.

Kari also serves the department as the OTM manager of NRHH and has worked over the top in March to promote OTMs across campus as MACURH is about to make history. However, she has been doing this all year. She has single handedly promoted OTMs so much that WSU has increased it's production of OTMs by far more than 400%.

Another valued role that Kari has served in March is as the Advisor to the East Lake Hall Council. At the beginning of the month the Hall Director left their position for another in the SAACURH region, leaving a big role to fill until WSU hired a replacement. Kari was asked to help out by jumping into the advisor position at East Lake and continue the amazon work that the Hall Director had been doing. In planning for the end of the year, East Lake is in the full swing of planning for their year's end party, the East Lake Carnival. Kari has worked inside and outside of meeting times to assist the now two member council in planning this extravagant event that will host about 300 students.

Jumping back to her position as LDC, Kari has also put in a lot of work for next year's RHA Executive Board Training Seminar. With a newly devised executive board member structure I can assure you that this was no easy task. Getting new members to fully understand brand new positions is always a daunting task. Working all the way up to the night before the training, Kari bossed through like none other.

I can't think of anyone more deserving than Kari Hagemann for a March OTM. I just hope that she realizes it when looking at this month's submitted OTMs.

Thank you, Kari! Thank you for going above and beyond your position in the month of March!
