Please explain the outstanding contributions of the nominee during the month of nomination

We must recognize Anthony Holmes!! This individual came in STRONG!! This sentence is not said lightly due to the fact that this RHD proves that he had the ability to manage a hall and lead a staff in the most effective way possible. He came in with an attitude like no other. He came ready to work and most importantly ready to serve. He is a people person and the residents respond to him well because he seeks to get to know them even on a personal level.

During this month of March he went a step further by working hard to learn more residents names and meet others who usually more reserved. The residents are very impressed when he calls out their name to just say "Hello". During this month, he also went a step further by truly getting to know who they are, making each person feel as though they were an asset to the Hall. He worked hard to continue to build his staff. He is visible in the hall and the staff knows where to find him if they need him. He has the ability to bring out the best in all of his staff members and that is simply characteristics worth admiration. Early this month, he even took the time to exercise with me for one hour so that I would not be alone. It is little things like this I truly appreciate. That goes to say "little things make a big difference."

His character is one of a kind. This individual is patient and handles situation in a calm, collected manner, which is very impressive. Yet, do not let this trick you because he has the ability to speak up and control his staff and residents if things seem to get out of order. His personality seemed timid at first, but it was not long before his staff brought out his true personality, which is amazing. He allows us to have a good time and can always make us laugh.

He is very active. He has done very well with RHA this month and has made them better leaders. He participates in as many programs as possible. He does activities with his staff and is always willing to set up staff outings, which could not be appreciated more.

As an RHD, he is very organized and responsible. He is prompt and expects that his staff is always on time as well. The staff had to make sure that they were doing what they had to do because he simply expects nothing less than your all. Anthony Holmes is patient and he is willing to listen to things that can make him better. This individual is not afraid to question when he is unaware of things. He is determined to seek answers in order to better his knowledge and inform his staff correctly. He does not work in order to receive recognition, but you can truly tell that this is where his heart is. He does not work to be noticed or uplifted, but works hard to serve the community in which he lives. It is the quality of his work that has made him stand out among his peers this month.

One resident said, “I want to stay in this hall because of the RHD and staff. You just get the right vibe.” This is thanks to this RHD’s ability to help create an amazing team and work hard to better his staff as well as himself. We thank him.
