Dr. Straach has been a tremendous asset to our efforts this last month.
She helped with organizing the Computer Science Faculty Dinner and acted
as our MC for the event. She used an interactive survey program to keep
the students engaged throughout the presentations by other faculty. She
always has an upbeat attitude and her personality is a perfect match to
our students. She is always at ease speaking with students and it really
shows in our residents. The residents are not afraid to approach her when
they have a question or concern. They also look forward to her being
present at the programs. Dr. Straach has also been very persuasive to
other members of the faculty. She has recruited many highly esteemed
faculty to programs and has been able to use her contacts in the industry
to set up tours for our students. Whenever we have needed an answer to a
question or needed someone to spearhead a program to get the ball rolling,
Dr. Straach has been there. We are beyond grateful for her work with the
