I believe Najib Yang deserves to be the Resident Assistant of the month.
He is always going beyond the call of duty to look out for residents on
his floor as well as other floors. In one instance, he came across an
intoxicated student with his hand on the fire alarm. Najib was able to
calmly stop this student from pulling the fire alarm. Also, Najib took
one of his residents to the emergency room for an ear infection very
early in the morning and waited there with him for 3 hours. On several
occasions, I’ve seen Najib helping residents with their math and biology
homework. He also spends time getting to know his residents by having
conversations with them, playing games with them, and watching TV with
them. Furthermore, Najib is very selfless. For example, he helped two
Resident Assistants plan and prepare an inter-hall program and let them
have the floor event points for the programs since he had more total
points than them. Najib is a role model to his residents and other
Resident Assistants. Word Count: 178
