| Please give a short description of the program: During the program, each person in attendence was given a wooden
board about half an inch thick. On one side of the board they wrote
what they want people to know about them, or what about them is
important to them. For example, a sister, a daughter, an athlete, a
hard worker, a student, etc.. Then on the other side of the board,
they were to write stereotypes that have been made about them
personally. After everbody was done writing these things out, each
person went around and shared what they had written on each side,
and then with someone holding their board that person broke the
baord in half with their hand. Symbolizing breaking through the
stereotypes that they have faced, and showing that they are strong
individuals in the inside.Word Count: 129 |
