Please explain the outstanding contributions of the nominee during the month of nomination

Brooke Knudtson caught my attention as soon as I met her. Cheerful, ambitious, and motivated are some of the few words that define who she is. She has an amazing personality that naturally draws people to her. During welcome week, she showed up to almost every event with an army of friends. Before I could even text her about an event she was already there having fun and meeting new people. She has an outgoing personally that thrives off the culture that the University of Texas at Dallas has created for her.

She was extremely excited to come to UT Dallas and immediate sought out ways to become involved in the community. She is now a cheerleader for the school, which is a great way to showcase her excitement and energy. She is also a new member of the sorority Kappa Alpha Theta. She was also just announced as a member of Student Government. She will be serving on Senate representing the freshmen class of 2016. She strives to serve as senate in the U.S. government one day, and this is one step closer to accomplishing her dreams.

It has only been the first month of school, and she is already beginning to leave her impact on UT Dallas.
