Please explain the outstanding contributions of the nominee during the month of nomination

The Student Union and Activities Advisory Board (SUAAB) at The University of Texas at Dallas is a group that loves to throw events for students to participate in. In the month of January, SUAAB held an ice skating event in the middle of campus. This was no ordinary ice skating though; it was held outside, in Texas. To make the event feasible, the organization brought in synthetic ice sheets in order to make the skating rink. This event was advertised with flyers, and on Facebook, giving the event a bit of hype before the students saw the ice rink in the middle of campus. Due to the location, advertisements, and the uniqueness of the event, it turned out to be huge success. Students could show up to the event for free and borrow skates. The event had a great turnout, and it seemed everyone in attendance had a lot of fun.
